If you are going to add another 2 you'll need fans also need to purchase more 1 1 8/4 "long x 6/32 screw thread.

the guy I built the PC to wanted headroom for overclocking, so we moved to H100i to give more headroom cooling (this was an upgrade from the H55). It is liquid coolers in closed circuit. It is with the radiator, water pump, mounting brackets, hardware and two SP120L high flow, low noise 120 mm fan made by Corsair. the set also includes a cable for Corsair Link system and 2 fan header sets that allow for a total of 4 case fans that are controlled from the software Link leads. the pump is small and low profile. the radiator is 27 mm, 120 mm wide and 275 mm long. fits a case that takes a long 240 mm radiator with two 120 mm fans. on the bottom of the pump is a crude (looks to be micro machined parallel grooves) copper water block that contact the CPU IHS. has the thermal compound pre-applied so there is no need to purchase unless you want to. I'm not sure of the quality of the Corsair thermal compound, but I dare say it won't be as good as something like Arctic Silver 5. something to think about if you want the most out of it. the pump acts as a platform for fan control. has a standard 3-pin cable non-PWM, which goes to the CPU fan on the motherboard, and a SATA connector to power the pump, so you need a SATA connection plug from your PSU. It also has two ports for the included fan cables (end in 2, 4-pin port each) and a mini USB port for the special cable that goes to the Corsair Link. the Mini USB plug end into a USB connector that plugs into a USB header on your motherboard. comes with brackets to mount the popular modern CPU socket: LGA 1156, 1366, 1150, 1155, 2011, AMD AM2, AM3 and AM3, FM1/2 Read more ›

I currently am a overclock i5-4690 k using this. the processor runs at 4.6 ghz and under load the Kraken Prime95 keeps temperatures below 70 c. idle Temps at 28° c and during idle temps fans are at 20% speed. during the game stay under temperature 40° c. the fan speed and temperature scales because the temps did not significantly increase the fans didn't have to turn hard. so I rarely hear fans. of course if you are the type of person who wants to set your fan at 100% you can do this with the CAM software. the CAM software is ordered, but buggy. However, they have a new version that is in beta version which is much better than the current version. so I do not intend to allow that hurt my evaluation of the product.

This is an update to my earlier review, around Oct 2013. performed better than I thought. I just recently removed to install a watercooling system, Titan Black single loop and i7 CPU 3770. my initial Setup was just cooling for the graphics card on a block of Heatkiller XSPC 360 and after a month she decided to try the cpu. using waterblock Raystorm and a additional 360 radiator I had quite the surprise. my CPU while still relatively cool under full load for an hour reached the 59 C, my GPU was 43 C. single loop installation just downed my gpu temp 49. but my cpu has gone up from 1 C. and if something .... I'm stronger now because of additional fans for radiators. bottom line is that the GTS V8 is a great performer, able to keep up with watercooling setups mid range. and to see how it fits I have included a shot. This is a decent performer in a small package. I have this cooler for use in my case BitFenix Pandora because it has limited space.. I met an immediate problem, the fan only blows through the radiator, so it can be mounted only as exhaust gases. This works in most cases, but not the Pandora. due to the limited Assembly positions (due to its size) was not able to use this without any modifications.. I've done. I was able to remove the fan and rewire to allow me to add my fan and place the fan on the other side of the radiator, so now would work as a recruitment! (See test pattern only pic-not using the correct fan-)-so now with a correct fan static pressure, good job. obviously a rad 240 would work better, but this little cooler works well for my situation. -1 Why cant change star/fan back.

overall a great cpu cooler with a few minor flaws. I'll start with the weaknesses of this kit before moving on to the positives. My first problem is that the tubing is on the short side, which basically limited to this Assembly at the top of your case, unless you have a small case. the tubes are approximately 10 "long FYI. I have a r4 fractal and really hoped that I could fit this in the front, so I could keep the sound dampening pads on top of my case (I'm a fan of silence). Unfortunately due to short tubes failed to do this, so this ended up sounding louder than my cooler Master hyper 212, although I think the h220x is really quiet. issue # 2 is that the information for the water block is very difficult without someone to help you. now on to the positives. First, it needs to be said that this is not just a cpu cooler, but is in fact the beginning of own customized installation cooling liquid because you can add to it unlike other cpu water cooler. in fact, you can buy all this components separately to build your own, but it would cost more than $ 200 to do so. Secondly, the h220x is pretty quiet at idle and it keeps my cpu to 33 c without ramping up much at all (8320 to 4.3 ghz oc) during the stress test. all in all I would recommend this over any other cpu water cooler, but if you want absolute silence, stick with a high-end conditioner as noctura.
