ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 - 150 Watt Multicompatible, Worked great while it worked in my opinion

The several days before. I'm looking for information on the ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 - 150 Watt Multicompatible Low Noise CPU Cooler, so i would like to bring a story to tell.

This product gets high marks from me. installation:-it took less than 15 minutes. is as simple as this: remove the stock heatsink and fan, use appropriate mounting hardware for Intel or AMD products (both are included in the package), seat of the heatsink on the robot, tighten two screws, secure the fan and connect it, close the case and get back to work/games. -important: when you are seated the heatsink on the robot there are two things to be sure. first: clean adhesive residue from the processor that could have been there since the previous heat sink. make sure it is absolutely clean. Second: when you seat the new heat sink bonding material will connect immediately so be absolutely sure you are setting on the robot properly, so you don't have to move it around. You can do this by aligning the screw holes. -Installing takes exactly one instrument-a Phillips. There are only two screws to tighten (if you use the Intel). the rest of the hardware is done with the snaps and you won't need anything more than your fingers to install it. performance:-here is the highlight. with the stock fan I was getting an average temperature on an Intel core i7-920 of about 52 c. with this heat sink temp immediately dropped on average to 39 c-41 c. that is 10 degrees cooler for 15 minutes of your time and not a lot of money. If you are going to overclock or do high performance computing, those 10 degrees make a big difference. -I have already been able to overclock your system, are subject to strict performance tests with BOINC, and the temperature never got above 72 c (with the stock heatsink this same test sent the temperature at 85-91 c). -Quiet. very, very quiet.
