A few days earlier. I'm looking for information on the Corsair Hydro Series H80i GT Performance Liquid CPU Cooler CW-9060017-WW, so i would like to describe here.
super easy to install and keeps fresh on my i7-4790k on idle and load! The aesthetics of this cooler are awesome, makes me look very minimalist and well organized. corsair logo lighting is a nice touch. I was a bit nervous about installing this thing as I have never installed a system before water cooling in a closed circuit and didn't know what to expect, but it's extremely easy and very intuitive. have you ever installed a heatsink on a processor, if this is not much different-all. one thing to note, when you install the motherboard back plate, the standoffs may not always put pressure on the motherboard itself, and it may appear shaky. I thought I did something wrong when installing it when I put the plate and spacer back on because the whole back plate would shift about 1/4 of an inch and back. This resolved all the facts when you wear the heat sink and screw it to the spacers. will tighten against the motherboard and everything will be adherent to 100%. If you're having trouble with the Corsair logo blinking when under load, you may need to hop in the motherboard's BIOS and set the voltage on the port that connects to the pump/heatsink to be always at 100% and not variable temperature based fan. I have a case NZXT H440 H105 and fits it like a glove. I'm pretty sure that these two were made for each other. I chose not to update my fans, as many others have, warehouse fans are very quiet for me and generate enough airflow to cool the CPU, so I'm happy.
